A REAL HEAL

Pain can point us to passion, or to pessimism. It can arouse our sense of righteousness or invoke our sense of resentment. Pain can be the pathway to a revelation of profound truths. Pain can cause such deep emotional turmoil it will cause us to radical or rogue in our pursuits in life. Pain sometimes causes us to point blame where there is none, or give grace where it is needed.

When Christ suffered through the night before his passion being afflicted physically and mocked mentally it was painful. When Christ stood before Pilate and his own people hated him without a true cause, yelling crucify him, it was painful. When the Roman soldier beat him mercilessly with a cat of nine tails as the flesh was ripped from his body, it was painful. When the soldiers cast lots for his after pushing the piercing spikes of the crown of thorns into his head, it was painful. When they drove the nails into his hands and feet and stood him upright upon the cross it was painful. When the sins of all humanity were put upon him and his Father looked away, it was painful.

(2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(3) For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
(4) Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Hebrews 12:2-4 KJV

This corporeal realm is inundated with pains which are spiritual, mental, and physical. However there is a power to be harnessed in our pain. We can assign pain to a purpose and give ourselves passion to overcome them using those pains as the springboard to touching others with compassion. One of the greatest pains in life is the betrayal of someone whom we’ve invested our love, time, and treasures with. Forgiveness is one of the greatest virtues we have in our spiritual arsenal to quench the agonizing pulses of pain. Even in the secular realm one can only stand amazed by the inventions, medicines, and devices which have been the product of turning a negative pain into a positive power for the good.

Concerning the pain and passion of Jesus; he could have called ten thousand angels to rescue him and then turn and destroy his prosecutors and persecutors, but he did just the opposite. He said to the Father “forgive them for they know not what they do”. Why? Sin blinds and brings strong delusion. Remember sinners walk in darkness blinded to the love, mercy, and grace of God.

Brethren, retribution belongs to the Lord, he says vengeance is mine; I will repay. There will be a day when all sinners will stand before God the Righteous Judge to give an account for their sins. We will not be at that judgment if we follow Christ’s example of love, mercy, and grace. Our rewards will be distributed at the Bema Seat of Christ. But brethren let me exhort you today while you are in the body of flesh, give your pain a divine purpose by not letting it steal your love, peace, and joy but rather turn that pain into a passion to help others whom may be struggling with the same kind of pain and so fulfill the law of Christ. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
