13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

13 So an angel told them to find Peter, they may have known who he was and the angel told them where he was so they could send for him.
14 It is by the word of the Lord that people are saved. We are saved because we receive the word of Christ. Peter was to come and share the word to them.
15 So they hear the word and because they are receiving it, they receive the Holy Spirit. We cant receive the word and not have the Spirit come in to us. We cant have the Spirit in us and reject the gospel.
