Ezra 6:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.

Ezra 6:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 Now therefore,Tattenai, governor of the region beyond the River, and Shethar-Boznai, and your companions the Persians who arebeyond the River, keep yourselves far from there.7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

6 The king does not want them to get involved in any way other then send the tax money there; they would have most likely wanted to stop the work.

7 Sometimes we may want to help people but we can’t we have to watch them do the work they are called to do.
