Ezra 6:19-22 King James Version (KJV)
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month.
20 For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

The Passover Celebrated
19 And the descendants of the captivity kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. 20 For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves; all of them were ritually clean. And they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the descendants of the captivity, for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. 21 Then the children of Israel who had returned from the captivity ate together with all who had separated themselves from the filth of the nations of the land in order to seek the LORD God of Israel. 22 And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

19 So they kept Passover the temple was rebuilt and this is the first time Passover was kept in years because the exile prevented in and having no temple kept them from it as well. They worshiped by the Passover rather then doing it of our them having to.
20 So the priests purify themselves so that they can serve the Lord. We have to be set apart thru Christ to serve the Lord. We have duties to as Christians and should be growing in Him to keep serving in those duties.
21 So they are set themselves apart to serve the Lord. When we serve Jesus we need to lay aside evil we may fall and have to rely on grace but we should strive to be like Jesus.
22 So they kept the feast of unleavened bread as well. There are things the Lord wants us to keep we should try to keep them before we expect the Lord to bless us further they are serving God but have not yet been given their freedom yet they are still under the rule of others we should serve the Lord first and then He will move.
