Ezra 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
8 And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.

Ezra 7:7-8 International Standard Version (ISV)

7 Some of the descendants of Israel also left for Jerusalem, including the priests, the descendants of Levi, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the Temple Servants, during the seventh year of king Artaxerxes.
8 He arrived in Jerusalem during the fifth month of the seventh year of the king’s reign.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

7 So the men who were born to work for the Lord left for the temple to live to their calling, we as Christians all have a calling but we have to ask are we living to glorify God by our calling or are we doing something else?

8 So Ezra goes back to Jerusalem after many people go back and return, worship should have begun the temple should be being used and Ezra leaves expecting to find this once He arrives.
