GOT RESURRECTION?

(1) Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
(2) which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
(3) concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,
(4) who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 1:1-4

It’s Resurrection Day April 1st, 2018 when many gather to worship the resurrected Son of God. It is a day of commemoration of the awesome power that revives and resuscitates the dead. That same power is available to those who are dead in their trespasses and sins! That same power enables us in that we are weak but he is strong; that through our weakness he shows himself strong! When we surrender all that we are and who we are; then lose ourselves in the power of his love; faith resurrects us into the realm of the righteous and mobilizes us for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus! God is truth and truth transforms when we embrace it with a whole heart.

Without Christ there is no lawful; only the lawless! The spirit of lawlessness is in higher echelons of our government. The world is ripe for the coming reign of the lawless leader otherwise known as the anti-christ. Where is your heart? Is it in the loving care of Christ or is it in the dominion of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and pride of life? Regardless of what the religious compromisers say; repentance is the part of being born again. One must be remorseful of their sins, and then turn from them to God!

Brethren look at the world around you; do you not see that the wicked and lawless are lauded as virtuous and moral; while those who are righteous through the blood of Jesus are loathed more and more. Today we see the manifestation of the scriptures which declare they will call evil good and good evil. Those who lead the charge against Christian morality are lifted up before the people as heroes; and those who promote the gospel or Christ are ran through the goblet of persecution.

Today we are witnessing the fulfillment of biblical prophecy line upon line. Yet “The Church” is lethargic without enthusiasm to stand up to declare the gospel or live it as if Jesus is coming at any moment. Brethren let us awake unto righteousness and declare the Jesus before a crooked and perverse generation. Today we live in a religiosity that has love for pleasure more than for God, they walk their lives in a make believe piety but deny the power of God that transforms; they have a form without force or conformity to the real image of God.

(12) But all who have received Him, to them--that is, to those who trust in His name--He has given the privilege of becoming children of God;
(13) who were begotten as such not by human descent, nor through an impulse of their own nature, nor through the will of a human father, but from God.
(14) And the Word came in the flesh, and lived for a time in our midst, so that we saw His glory--the glory as of the Father's only Son, sent from His presence. He was full of grace and truth. John 1:12-14

Jesus did not have to come in the flesh; he did not have to die upon the cross; yet he came to model true godliness and then became convicted by the religious and put to death; not for himself but for us! Jesus conquered death and hell when he resurrected on the third day! He has all authority and delegated that authority to his body and empowered his body to be more than conquers.

(17) And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
(18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Because Jesus has the keys of death and hell he has the power to save! He has delegated that same resurrection power to us through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The apostles fellowshipped with the Lord before his ascension.
(4) Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
(5) For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
(6) Therefore when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
(7) He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
(8) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
(9) When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:1-9

Brethren we must be vigilant and seek spiritual renewal constantly for the purpose of empowerment so that we do not become lack in our pursuit of the Kingdom of God and his righteousness! People are in a vacuum and are looking for truth; while others are going to be eternally lost because they have become reprobate minds that will not receive the truth. Be the light you desire others to be. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
D.R. Ritchie (Apostle of the Most High God)
