Acts 7:42-43 King James Version (KJV)
42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

‘Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness,
O house of Israel?
43 You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch,
And the star of your god Remphan,
Images which you made to worship;
And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’

42 They turned from the Lord to false worship so God let them followed their false gods and He turned away from them. They gave sacrifices to the Lord in the wilderness but their came a time His was not their Lord because they had other gods and God was not willing to share their devotion.
43 Moloch worship involved throwing babies into fire for an act of worship. They worshiped whatever became popular but rejected the Lord of their fathers and because of their lack of faith and neglecting the Lord they were sent away into captivity by the Lord, He allowed them to be taken away by the Babylonians.
