Acts 10:29-31 King James Version (KJV)

29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Acts 10:29-31 New King James Version (NKJV)

29 Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?”
30 So Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God.

29 Peter explains that he was told to go but he asks why he was to go? Sometimes we have to step out in faith before God further moves in an area.

30 So he saw an angel, him fasting made him ready to see this. Fasting is good it makes us ready for the special things God has in store.

31 Everything we do in the Lord’s name will be remembered by Him and we will blessed because of it. God hears our prayers.
