GOD THE GOD OF JUSTICE, JUDGMENT, AND REJUVENATION
We live in a world of inequity, injustice, and enmity. The world is in decline morally and debauchery is rampant! We are seeing the prophetic words of the book of Isaiah fulfilled. Literally good is deemed as evil and evil is perceived and relegated to good. Perversion is lauded in the land and truth has be exchanged for the lie or worshipping the creation rather than the Creator. Yet as pilgrims sojourning through this physical realm we have no hope in the ethics of a world gone awry. The world has religion, formalism, and ceremony; we have Christ, worship, and a relationship. Those who conform to the situation ethics of the world and forsake truth in the pursuit of worldly success have their reward with them. We have the reward of eternity with Christ and the love and excitement of all it entails.
Fear is a weapon in the arsenal of the enemy. Fear is designed to avert our focus on the real issues of spiritual life. Fear manipulates, intimidates, and embellishes for the purpose of causing us to tamp down our public love and witness for Christ. It doesn’t want us to be successful in allowing Christ to live through us. Fear is a spirit in the hordes of our enemy’s rank and file. We as Christians are supposed to learn how not to wrestle against flesh and blood; but against the spiritual powers, principalities, and rulers of darkness in the demonic legions which are poised against us. God is not unmindful of those things!
(14) And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
(15) Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
(16) And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
(17) For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. Isaiah 59:14-17
God is not unaware of our dilemmas; if he was God and protector in the Old Testament to those who loved and practiced truth and righteousness; he has made us to be more than conquers!
(7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2nd Timothy 1:7
Jesus came to save us, heal us, and empower us through the Holy Spirit. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us! God is the God of justice, judgment, and rejuvenation. He declares that vengeance is his and that he will repay. He is just and righteous altogether. When we allow ourselves to get caught up in causes that consume us; seeking our own justice and judgment; we are forsaking the faith and vesting our own vindication; brethren these things consume us and take us away from our spiritual purpose and ambassadors of Christ and the children of reconciliation. God did not call us to recompense a curse for a curse; but to the contrary a blessing. We must stand back and let God step up! We can’t experience the joy of relationship and the peace that passes all comprehension if we engage in worldly matters that consume us and rob us of them. Let God be God he is our Judicator!
(18) According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
(19) So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
(20) And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
(21) As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. Isaiah 59:18-21
Brethren we have the Spirit of Redemption dwelling on the inside of us. The body of Christ can be more of a force by living the life of Christ than any other way in the world. Politics will fail you, Formalism will fail you, and People will fail you; but God will never fail you. We are supposed to be the Light of the World through our words and deeds. When we practice the principles of God we are destined to progress spiritually and understand we have a God who raises a standard against our enemies when we walk in his word and ways! Selah
Shalom, Agape, and Amen!
