GOD IS ABLE
(11) Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.
(12) Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!
(13) Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
(14) But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. 1 Chronicles 29:11-14
God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, and he is the Author and Finisher of our Faith! He is God and we are not! Yet who is man that he is so mindful of us? The Lord is surely the only one from whom all blessings flow! The word tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood; let’s think about that in the instance of blessings in our lives. Gifts and Callings come from God; talents are woven into our DNA and favor is not granted from the initiative of the flesh; but through the Spirit of God. If opposition comes from the spiritual realm of evil and the devil; then blessings that promote Christ and the will of God for our lives come from the spiritual realm of good and God!
We should also learn how to turn opposition into opportunity and adversity into advancement! Many question the seasons of God because they do not understand the personal interest God takes in his children. The blessings of God are personal and often have a time of fulfillment if we do not weary in doing the will of God.
(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
Idios (id'-ee-os) Kairos (kahee-ros') is the phase due season in the Greek, it implies personal and proper time. Hence it means that when we choose to not waver in our commitment there is time we will reap what we have sown! In Galatians the passage is pointing to the support of those who communicate the gospel or in other words preach and teach the word of God. Yet we can derive a principle from the text; we reap what we sow! If we sow good seeds of generosity, good deeds and works of righteousness and do not weary in doing it; that there is a due date for our labors of love; even though that is not the objective by which we perform them.
Honestly there are those who never ever give or scarcely do; but they take all the time and even get mad when someone doesn’t give. These are those who have a due season who will reap what they have sown; they have sown lack! Lack of love, lack of compassion, lack of charity, lack of helping others! Remember we reap what we sow! There are many times I’ve seen someone sow in sacrifice to themselves and I have watched with joy to see their due season come! O there is joy in seeing someone receive blessings from the Lord. Amen!
I understand that one cannot own anything in this life; we are stewards of God’s graces, goods, and generosity. For all things come from him and of his we have given him. When we have an unction by the Spirit to give to someone; it is giving back to him what is already his. I want to witness of God’s favor for our advancement to bring about results in the Kingdom of God. When we live in the center of his will even what seems to be defeat is leading up to victory. When we close our eyes in death and open them in the state of eternal life; O how sweet the victory! In the Kingdom of God our maturity in the spirit is the most prized possession we can obtain. With spiritual maturity comes the wisdom of the word of God and how it is applied to live a life of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, kindness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Sow and you shall reap, give of yourself and it shall be given you! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
