Acts 4:23-26 King James Version (KJV)
23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

Acts 4:23-26 New King James Version (NKJV)
Prayer for Boldness

23 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. 24 So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, 25 who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:
‘Why did the nations rage,
And the people plot vain things?
26 The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the LORD and against His Christ.’

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

23 The left and first went to the people who were concerned about them to let them know they were out, we should let people who care about know who the Lord works thru us and help us. They did not see the report as a reason to stop but more of a need to trust fully in the Lord and He would provide more faith for them.

24 They did not get scared because of the Pharisees but continued to praise the Lord, if the Pharisees only knew what they were doing by letting them go, but if they truly knew what they were doing they would have turned to God because of their actions. In times of trouble and concern we should still give praise to the Lord.

25 This is from Psalms. This may here fulfill scripture or they be seeing it as they saying this because they have the scripture on their hearts because of their faith in Him. The world is against them today the world still hates true Christianity because it goes against their self will and teaches submission to the Lord. The world has plotted many times to remove Christians this plan started with trying to remove Christ then the disciples all these plans would fail the plotters would go away but Christianity still stands strong today strong by Him.

26 The world may be against us but we have Christ on our side we are on the winning side and there is no one that can stand against us truly with Him on our side, He will be permitted to serve His will if we follow Him.
