Acts 4:27-31 King James Version (KJV)
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Acts 4:27-31 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. 29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

27 The people were gathered against Christ who was perfect there should be no surprise to us that they will be against us who are imperfect that follow after Him. The world hates us be we need to take a stand together in Christ.

28 We no matter what need to follow God’s will even when is illegal or hard we need to follow Him, even when we lose family or friends or threatened, we still need to serve Him. Nothing and no one will stop His plan we should just choose to submit to Him and follow in His plan.

29 To speak God’s Word with threats being thrown can not be easy but when we are weak to do His will He will strengthen us. We need to stand strong in Him, not just take a stand and move when things go against us but a strong stand not allowing anything to move us away from Him.

30 The fact that they served the Lord was shown by them being able to heal as He was, it was by His will they did this. God still shows we are His in ways today.

31 Their prayer was instantly answered this showed their need for this prayer to be answered, this showed that they needed to act now and not wait, God’s word was for them to go, this is where God’s will met up with His word. God’s word will always meet up with His will.
