Ezra 5:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13 But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.
14 And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;
15 And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.
Ezra 5:13-15 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 However, in the first year of Cyrus king of Babylon, King Cyrus issued a decree to build this house of God.14 Also, the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple that was in Jerusalem and carried into the temple of Babylon—those King Cyrus took from the temple of Babylon, and they were given to one named Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor.15 And he said to him, ‘Take these articles; go, carry them to the temple site that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be rebuilt on its former site.’

13 The king a pagan king was used by the Lord to make building the temple possible; the Lord used the pagan’s money to show His glory. Cyrus did this in his first year which meant he wanted to get it done with right away.
14 The vessels of God were handed over so that they would not be misused again, these vessels were mostly used to gather and pour blood within the temple.
15 The vessels were being brought back into the temple, where they belonged yet the temple was not yet built so they needed to be stored until that time was, this also shows that the king knew the temple would be rebuilt because of his degree perhaps but it would be done because it was God’s will.
