Embrace the whole life of living for Christ, so many think that if something is wrong, they must be doing something wrong, but that’s not necessarily the truth, in fact it could be because they’re doing everything right.
I’ve probably heard when the enemies of Israel defeated them once, that their conquers cut off the right big toe, the right thumb, and plucked out the right eye, why? Generally most people are right hand and lead the charge in a battle from the right side. Therefore to make sure one is put out of commission without killing them this was the practice of warfare.
IF THE ENEMY CAN TAKE THE RIGHT OUT OF US, HE CAN TAKE THE FIGHT OUT OF US
Brethren, we have a real enemy that wants to take every thing right out of lives, hence; our walking in righteousness, our ability to put our hand to the work, and our knowledge of the righteousness of Christ. These are the abilities which enable us to be effective warriors for Christ.
(10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
(11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
(12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
(14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
(15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
(16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
(17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
(18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV
Brethren keep the faith today by changing your mentality concerning the trying of your faith. As long as we live in this particular age we will always face opposition to our faith. If we preempt ourselves by preparing ourselves for life’s battles we will be more than conquers through Christ Jesus whom loves us and gave himself for us.
Preparation is the key to standing strong when the enemies of Christ come to battle with you and I. Each piece of God’s armor represents a spiritual aspect of our devotion to Christ. When we are firmly anchored in Christ and fully armored up for warfare, we are ready for the battles of every kind, knowing full well its because we are serving Christ that the enemy has risen against us. Remember this life is has been altered by sin, and Satan is its greatest champion, but we stand in opposition against him through the Blood, the Word, and Spirit of the Living God. He cannot overtake us if we are prepared in the Spirit and vested in the Truth.
Armor Up I say, Armor Up the battle is before us, and we win! For if God be with us who can withstand us or separate us from his mighty hand. Selah!
