18 To think the power of the Spirit can be bought with money or with anything we have is deceit, it has been paid for by the blood of Christ and nothing we can do can gain it. The Holy Spirit is something that we as believers are all given.
19 He wanted to give away the Holy Spirit, they were not choosing who they gave the Spirit to God chose them and just let them know, we in no way can determine who receives the gospel and Jesus and who rejects Him.
