Acts 5:29-32 King James Version (KJV)

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:29-32 New King James Version (NKJV)

29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

29 This is something we need as Christians to live by, we need to put God first prior to our own wants as well as others.

30 They thought they had removed Jesus by killing them but this is exactly why they were speaking.

31 They preach the gospel to the people who are trying to stop them, this shows that they were not even scared of the results but served the Lord and trusted Him to deal with things.

32 They had a purpose and they were living it, we have that same mission and nothing should stop of even if things stands in our ways.
